EWASCO Management Encourages Staff to Increase Their Efforts

The management of Embu Water and Sanitation Company Limited (EWASCO) has called upon all staff members to intensify their efforts in their respective roles to ensure that the utility not only meets but surpasses customer expectations.

During a staff meeting held on May 29, 2023, at EWASCO Headquarters, the newly appointed Managing Director, Eng. James Njue Njeru, urged the employees to strive for excellence in their areas of operation for the continued success of the company.

With the aim of supplying an ample amount of water to both urban and rural residents, Eng. Njue emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving the company’s revenue goals. He encouraged everyone to promptly report any water bursts or leaks they come across so that appropriate action can be taken.

CPA Dickson Njiru, the Head of Audit Risk and Compliance, expressed his gratitude to all EWASCO staff members for their cooperation during his tenure as the Acting Managing Director. He handed over the responsibilities to the current Managing Director, Eng. Njue, and commended the team for their support during the transition.

FCPAK John Nyaga, the Chairman of the EWASCO Board, was present at the ceremony and assured the new Managing Director of the board’s support as he assumes leadership of this vital institution in Embu County.
