EMBU COUNTY SECRETARY OPENS EWASCO NEW BOARD MEMBERS INDUCTION WORKSHOP
The Board of Directors, Embu Water and Sanitation Company Limited (Ewasco) and the Embu County Government officials have met to discuss strategies that will help to efficiently deliver water to the residents, and especially during the dry periods.
The three-day induction workshop opened by the Embu County Secretary Ms. Amy Ruria on behalf of Embu County Governor. Her Excellency Cecily Mbarire seeks long term solutions on the main issues hindering efficient service delivery across EWASCO mandated areas.
Ewasco board Chairman Dr. Bishop Samuel Nginyi said several issues, including increasing Mukangu treatment works as process to construct a new treatment at Kathageri, is underway to quench thirst to the Embu County community.
The company Managing Director CPA Dickson Njiru said the water service provider is determined to serve all the customers equally and to satisfaction.
Other key participants of the workshop include: Embu County executive member for water Eng. Florence Musyoka, Embu county executive member for finance Professor Joe Kamaria, EWASCO Company Secretary and EWASCO board of directors.
